St. Clair Football is proud to announce that Offensive Lineman Ezzat Elnagmi has signed with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. The Alouettes are the defending Grey Cup Champions and Elnagmi is set to join Montreal for their title defense.
Elnagmi has spent the last two years playing for the Saints Football team and has just recently graduated from the Strategic Project Management program. He left his mark here at St. Clair College as a two-time OFC Champion and having accumulated multiple accolades this past 2023 season for the Saints. The accolades included are being named an OFC All-Star, the OFC Offensive Lineman of the Year, a CJFL All-Canadian and the first ever recipient of the Dr. Patti France Award for Leadership in Athletics.
An import player for the Saints, Elnagmi is from London, England and came to the Saints as a graduate from the University of the West of England. Head Coach Mike Lachance had this to say about Ezzat, “he came to St. Clair two years ago and we spoke about opportunities here. From the day he arrived he has taken every opportunity both scholastically and athletically and maximized his potential. On and off the field he has done what he was supposed to do and now he has another outstanding opportunity to explore. Ezzat has deserved every accolade and award because of his hard work and dedication.”
Saints Nation wishes Ezzat all the best as he continues his Football career as an Alouette!
